What We Believe
We believe . . .
- The Bible is inspired and infallible
in its entirety (Psalms 19:7), inerrant in its parts (Proverbs 30:5-6).
- In the Oneness of God, that there are
three manifestations of the One God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
- That Jesus was born of a virgin, lived
a sinless life, was crucified, buried and rose on the third day in bodily
form.
- In the necessity of baptism in water
in Jesus' name according to Acts 2:38, 1 Corinthians 1:13 and Colossians
3:17.
- We believe in the Baptism of the Holy
Spirit with the sign of speaking in other tongues. We believe Christians
must be filled daily by using prayer language, but the evidence of the
Holy Spirit's indwelling presence is a changed life (Acts 2:4; Ephesians
5:18-21).
- In living a holy, consecrated and sanctified
life.
- In the resurrection of the dead saints
and the translation of the living saints, commonly known as the rapture
(1 Thessalonians 4:14-17).
